With the warmer weather set to continue for a few more weeks it’s easy to get lulled into forgetting about the impending colder seasons approaching, yet they will arrive at some point and in the not too distant future.

When the cold weather does arrive it’s easy to assume that when you switch your heating on it will work just like it did before you switched it off. However you should not take for granted that everything will work as expected.

Now is the time to make sure that everything works properly before you switch your system on properly. There are a great many components in a commercial heating system that all need to work together to make sure that the boilers fire up and work efficiently. Did you know for instance that your temperature control system needs to switch on the water pumps and operate the water valves to ensure that there is a correct water flow? Also if the boilers have a flue fan then this too needs to switch on and work correctly. The boilers will not fire up properly if any of these components do not work collectively and as expected.

Don’t take the chance of a heating failure and potential expensive and delayed call out. Why not ask us to undertake a pre-winter service to guarantee that your system works as expected and ensure that the building occupants are warm when needed.
